Privacy Policy

Data Stored on Your Device
Lockd stores all your data locally on your device using SQLite:
- Habits you create (name, icon, frequency, reminder time)
- Completion records (dates you checked in)
- App settings (theme, language)
- Scheduled reminders (local notifications)
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to any server. Uninstalling Lockd permanently deletes all of it.
Analytics (Statsig)
Lockd uses Statsig to collect anonymous usage analytics:
- Screen views and button taps
- A random per-install identifier (not linked to your identity)
- Device metadata (model, OS version, locale)
No personally identifiable information is collected. This data is not used for advertising. Its sole purpose is to help us understand how the app is used so we can improve it.
Crash Reporting (Sentry)
Lockd uses Sentry to collect crash reports:
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Device information (model, OS version)
- A random installation identifier (not linked to your identity)
No personally identifiable information is collected. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs.
In-App Purchases
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. The developer never receives or has access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.
No User Accounts
Lockd does not require sign-up, login, or any form of account creation. No personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number, etc.) is ever collected.
No Advertising or Tracking
Lockd does not display ads. No data is shared with advertisers or third-party tracking services.
Children's Privacy
Lockd is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us so we can address it.
Data Retention and Deletion
- On-device data — Deleted permanently when you uninstall Lockd.
- Analytics data (Statsig) — Retained per Statsig's privacy policy.
- Crash data (Sentry) — Retained per Sentry's privacy policy.
Since no data is linked to your identity, there is no account or profile to delete.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of Lockd after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
